Contingency Management Plan (CMP)

In accordance with the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW 3.0) and CERT-In cybersecurity directives, CyberCheck India maintains a comprehensive Contingency Management Plan to ensure uninterrupted service delivery, platform resilience, and rapid disaster recovery.

1. High Availability Architecture

The CyberCheck India application and scanning infrastructure are deployed across high-availability cloud instances located within the AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1) region. Critical services operate with redundant Nginx reverse proxies, automated health checks, and process supervision via PM2 clustering.

2. Backup & Data Redundancy Protocol

Automated snapshots and encrypted incremental database backups are executed daily. Offsite backup copies are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and stored in secondary isolated storage vaults with an enforced Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of under 1 hour.

3. Disaster Recovery Objectives

In the event of hardware degradation, network failure, or catastrophic regional outage, our Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is targeted at less than 15 minutes via automated containerized provisioning and DNS failover.

4. Incident Reporting & Escalation

Any cybersecurity incident or unplanned degradation is escalated immediately to our designated Incident Response Team and Web Information Manager (WIM). Incidents meeting statutory reporting criteria are communicated to CERT-In within mandatory notification windows.
